As a result of the volunatry community work, following the severe weather and flooding in January 2016, AB41 Flood Response was formed to help those affected. As Ellon transitions to " normality", ECRG has been formed as of May 2016 with a specific Aim as set out below.

Specifically related to flood, engage with e.g. Aberdeenshire Council, SEPA, Scottish Water, etc. on definition/implementation of near term and long term flood prevention measures.
Is not limited to potentially vulnerable flood areas Any part of the town can be affected by the impact of e.g.
We aim to be prepared to proactively respond to the needs of those affected in support of the First Responders.
